Sources close to the trade negotiations between the Detroit Lions and the Denver Broncos indicate that Denver defensive back Domonique Foxworth could be on his way out, the Denver Post reports. Denver has shown interest in Detroit DT Shaun Rogers, but any other terms of the potential deal were not disclosed.
This trade could be pretty simple - Foxworth and switching first rounders for Rogers. I think that’s a little too steep a price for Rogers, considering the switch is worth a third round pick. It wouldn’t surprise me if this trade is equally complicated as last year’s Lions-Broncos swap, with 3 players and 2 draft picks involved.

I always liked Foxy, but if he helps us get d-line help its worth it.
This version sounds better than the last scenario. I thought getting the lesser of the two DTs and having to throw in a 2nd round draft pick screwed us. Honestly, we’re sitting in a rough spot in the draft for the positions we need, so if we can trade down 3 spots, fill the position we need help with the most and still get a top tier guy in the draft this doesn’t sound too bad.
