you don’t lose to go up draft picks. If that’s the attitude why don’t we write off next year and finish 0-16 so we get the first pick.
I not only agree with MB, but I also take offense that David uses the MIKE LB as an example of how we can upgrade with a higher draft pick… DJ Williams has developed into a beast this year (currently 4th in the LEAGUE in tackles this season). Of all the positions to use for his example, I would have picked anything, but this one. DJ Williams will be in the middle next year… No matter who replaces Bates.
