Halftime score is 8-6 Kansas City thanks to a blocked punt safety. The Broncos are limping everywhere but have shown a lot of fire and passion, which they’ll need to pull out a victory.
Kyle’s first half awards:
HALFTIME STUD - Selvin Young, who is making big plays that are oh-so close to going all the way.
HALFTIME DUD - Matt Lepsis, who is getting beat constantly by The Mullet.

Big 1st half stat… Holmes and Bowe have all but 11 yards of KC’s TOTAL OFFENSE! That’s crazy… let’s shut those two players down, boys!

I would love to stay and chat, but I am superstitious. We won against the Steelers when I wasn’t live blogging, and since then I picked it back up and we’ve lost.

3rd 15:00 - KC starts off at their 20.
3rd 14:50 - Ok, Gold is having a good game. That was a great blocked pass!
3rd 14:40 - Bly gets a INT off a tipped ball! And Young starts off our short march with a nice long run!
3rd 13:32 - Young just scored his FIRST NFL TOUCHDOWN! 13-8 Denver leads!
3rd 13:32 - KC will again begin from there 20 yard line.
3rd 13:23 - Elvis sacks the passer and Nate Webster picks up the forced fumble and scores a TD! 20-8 Denver leads.
P.S. Kyle… don’t you dare start blogging! :)
3rd 13:32 - KC will try again from their 28 yard line. Huard is out and Croyle is in.
3rd 11:52 - Big third down conversion by KC and their new QB.
I took a gamble by putting the denver D in my fantasy team. Looks like a good choice now.
3rd 10:34 - Our linebackers are playing a really solid game so far! 3rd & 5
3rd 10:25 - Croyle gets KC out of another 3rd down. They’re past midfield.
3rd 8:47 - Croyle has KC near the DEN 20.
3rd 7:30 - KC will have to settle for another FG. 20-11 (DEN leads).
3rd 6:50 - DEN starts at our 25. Young gets around 8 yards on the first play!
3rd 6:10 - Come on guys! Another offensive penalty.
3rd 5:10 - We run on 3rd-and-3. No gain. We punt. KC starts at their 10 yard line (great punt, Todd).
3rd 3:10 - We force a fumble, but Kennison recovers. They have another first down.
3rd 2:00 - Big 3rd-and-3 here. A stop would be HUGE!
3rd 1:35 - Darn it! #88 got them the first!
End of the third… KC is on our side of the field. Our Defense needs to tighten it up!
Croyle has piled up as many passing yards in one quarter as Huard did in the whole first half. I think knocking Huard out, was a bad move. :)
4th 14:19 - KC is finally stopped and forced to try a 53 yard FG… and… and… Nope. Score still stands at 20-11.
4th 14:06 - Cutler uses his legs for time and gets a long completion to Stokley!

4th 13:45 - Young is getting VERY close to passing 100 yards rushing.
4th 12:14 - A questionable call of pass interference, but we’re now inside the 30 yard line.
4th 11:06 - Young now has over 100 yards rushing and we have another TD (Cutler to Graham).
4th 10:44 - We’re up 27 to 11 and Kyle’s plan is working perfectly! lol!
4th 10:06 - Another 3rd and 5 for KC. And Elvis strikes again! Our third sack for the day.
4th 9:35 - Someone tell Martinez that he needs to run FORWARD. He ran backward for a lose of 5 yards.
4th 9:35 - Another O-line penalty and we’re facing a long 2nd down… not to worry, Jay Cutler just ran it 14 yards! :)
4th 8:01 - DEN takes a time out… Not sure why here.
4th 7:54 - And we’re still alive as Scheffler makes a great catch and good move to get us close to the 50 yard line (and more importantly, the clock keeps running down).
4th 7:17 - Third and long… Cutler gets his pass blocked and with a KC timeout, we’re bringing in the punting team.
You gotta love all those empty seats.
4th 7:06 - KC starts at their 16 yard line.
4th 6:43 - Long completion for KC… and then CHAMP BAILEY STRIKES! INT #24!!!
4th 5:28 - We now will be running the ball… And it looks like Hall will get a chance at RB. Jon gets giddy.
4th 3:13 - Denver players are looking happy… I’m seeing smiles and high-fives. We’re at 3rd-and-6.
4th 2:15 - Denver burns there last timeout and goes for it on 4th and 6. It’s KC’s on their 26.
4th 1:58 - Two minute warning and we’re up by by 16 points. 27-11.
4th 1:48 - We’re in prevent. They’re getting some yards passing. And, AGAIN, Gold has a HUGE HIT forcing the incomplete pass.
4th 1:25 - KC is at midfield. Webb makes a big catch moving KC inside the 35 yard line.
4th 1:12 - Elvis jumps offsides to add to our impressive penalties this game.
4th 1:07 - A great deflection by Bly and… you guessed it another penalty against Denver. I beat I know what our guys will be practicing this week.
4th 0:53 - ANOTHER PENALTY…. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
AND ANOTHER PENALTY!?!?!?! 12 penalties costing us over 60 yards! :(
4th 0:40 - 3rd and goal at our 4 yard line. But Bly tips ANOTHER pass out of reach of the receiver. GREAT play by Bly this game.
4th 0:31 - Denver gets our 4th sack (Kyle’s fav Crowder), and it turns over on downs. Cutler takes a knee and we win it 27-11!

A complete performance pretty much and will make for a much better week roll on (a week on) monday!
