Stink List: Pre-Season Week 1 Note: Stink List will be a weekly post going up every Sunday night/ Monday depending on Broncos game time/how excited/depressed I am over the outcome. It’s a list, or grouping, or cluster of people, things, stuff, situations, that I deem stinky in the previous/particular week. The oral stink list had […]

If we learned anything from Mike Shanahan, it should be this, “Always fall forward.” If I learned anything from watching Jay Cutler play versus the Buffalo Bills tonight it was this, it doesn’t really matter who the Denver Broncos quarterback is… Cutler, if you’re not aware, damn near had three interceptions (while managing one actual […]

(AP Photo/Marcio Sanchez) Kyle Orton stunk it up when it counted last night and Chris Simms pushed through for a possible win. Even if it was a meaningless preseason game, nothing is meaningless when it comes to the Broncos quarterback situation. I will give credit where it’s due, Orton did a great job of managing […]

Powered by Podbean.com Great little diddy where Denver Broncos Chief Operating Officer Joe Ellis talks about the firing of Mike Shanahan, the hiring of Josh McDaniels, and a whole lot more in this 25-minute interview. Enjoy! FM Sportsradio 104.3 THE FAN Audio On-Demand (H/T MHR)
Here are few things observed from the other half of the Broncotalk onsite staff for todays practice. Open Field Defensive Back Tackling Drills Josh Barrett destroyed Travis Shelton in the middle of the field. Easily the hardest hit of the day. Marshall seemed to go down awfully easy in this drill after making contact. Not […]

With Kyle and Josh at Dove Valley (and currently eating dinner), I’m maintaining the head quarters and manning the thirty-three plus flat screens we have here at BroncoTalk Blog Central (East has a thing for the Oxygen Network and JKJ’s obsessed with Lifetime, do not ask!)… They’ve been busy. Here’s what we’ve learned so far: […]

Folks, Adam Schefter reported this one. During their meeting on friday Brandon Marshall asked owner Pat Bowlen for a trade. Bowlen asked Marshall to consider whether he wants an extension or a trade, and according to PFT, “Marshall is expected to stick to his guns.” Wow. I’m speechless… sort of. I’m not too mad about […]

Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall was a no-show this morning to the mandatory off-season workouts. Although Marshall would not have been able to participate in the workouts, he is required to rehabilitate with Bronco trainers. Marshall has expressed discontent with the training staff in Denver, after they had misdiagnosed the severity of his injury. Denver’s […]

As The Denver Post’s Mike Klis pointed out this morning, Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall is amongst kings: “His salary request is affordable for a receiver who averaged 103 catches and 1,295 receiving yards the past two years. Larry Fitzgerald averages $10 million a year, Randy Moss $9 million, Andre Johnson has an eight-year […]
Note: This thought was dug up as my roommates and I were watching the NBA playoffs (if you’re not watching, do so, best playoffs since the MJ era). I realize my first two posts have to do with age, specifically my age. Please bare with me. It seems as if I must be having a […]
