Opposing offensive linemen could rarely block Randy Gradishar. No one could. The linebacker played before my time, but as I grow as a Broncos fan I find myself watching the team’s history more and more. The more I watch, and the more I learn, the more I see that the seven-time Pro [...]

The Broncos have two very, very deserving candidates for the Hall of Fame on the ballot today. There’s no doubt both Randy Gradishar and Gary Zimmerman belong in the Hall of Fame - the problem is that there are so many other names out there that are deserving.
Len Pasquerelli of ESPN even talked about [...]

Today’s the big day. Time to find out who’s in and who’s out for their ticket to Canton, OH this year. For those who haven’t been paying attention, the Broncos have Randy Gradishar and Gary Zimmerman among the 17 finalists, out of which 4-7 will be enshrined. [Boulder Daily Camera]

Daily Links have been hard to write the past few weeks, mostly because there’s just not enough to “link about.” Well, I’m going to fight through that, even if it means grabbing stories from across the NFL (or “at lower elevations,” as I like to say). And away we go…

Randy Gradishar should been [...]

Gradishar is a finalist again
17 finalists have been named for consideration for the 2008 Induction Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Among them are Broncos linebacker Randy Gradishar and offensive tackle Gary Zimmerman.
Left behind is running back Terrell Davis.
Zimmerman was a finalist last year and four of the last five, and Gradishar [...]

Gary Zimmerman
Three Denver Broncos have advanced in the Hall of Fame voting for the class of 2008 - linebacker Randy Gradishar, offensive tackle Gary Zimmerman, and runningback Terrell Davis. These three are among 26 names to be reviewed again in January. All three of these players have made it this far before.

Came across this article by Dr. Z over at Sports Illustrated. He has to submit his first 25 names for the Hall of Fame preliminary ballot soon, and discusses his selections in pretty good detail. He’s given in to the Art Monk outrage, and he’s also giving Cris Carter his vote, making it [...]

Injustice is the only word that one can use when you consider the Denver Broncos currently enshrined in the Hall of Fame.  That’s because there is only one, the obvious inclusion of John Elway.
Four former Broncos are on the preliminary list of candidates for the Hall of Fame.  Terrell Davis is eligible for his second [...]

Randy Charles Gradishar, born March 3, 1952 in Warren, Ohio, came into the National Football League after a tremendously successful college career. Playing for the Ohio St. Buckeyes, Gradishar was selected as first-team All-American in both his junior and senior seasons (1972, 73). In [...]
