Denver Broncos blog, news and rumors

So you can’t really fault John Fox for not going for more of a home run hit prior to the Ravens getting the ball back, it did work the four out of four times the Broncos had used the strategy. The numbers were in Fox’s corner and if it ain’t broke, play Foxball.

We all know this weekend is about Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning, no matter what each quarterback tells you. But for one second, let’s indulge their insistent “it’s Patriots vs. Broncos” remarks and look at how the Patriots vs. Broncos fare in the eyes of Football Outsiders‘ smarter stats. Remember that negative percentages are good [...]

We can debate whether the Denver Broncos should have stayed put at either #25 or #31 till kingdom come. Recently I have taken an in depth look at the college prospects available at our largest areas of need on offense (running back) and defense (defensive tackle (part 1, part 2). With less than two short weeks to the 2012 NFL draft I am breaking down which prospects will be on the Broncos radar pick-by-pick [...]

The 2012 NFL Draft is just one week away and barring a trade, the Denver Broncos will be selecting 25th overall in the first round.  Below are five prospects I like for the Broncos, if they fall to No. 25. 1.  Dont’a Hightower (6-2, 265 lbs.), MLB, Alabama (Highlights, Scouting Report). Notes:   Of the [...]
