A lot of things have changed in the NFL over the past twenty years. In 1991, linebacker Mike Croel was drafted by the Denver Bronocs, quarterback Brett Favre played for the Atlanta Falcons and John Fox was coaching the San Diego Chargers secondary. Fox has been coaching in football since 1978 when he was a [...]

If anyone read my introductory article, you will notice that I disclosed the fact that I have dual loyalties when it comes to NFL fandom: the Denver Broncos as well as the Green Bay Packers.
As you likely know (and if you don’t, you live under a rock), the Green Bay Packers recently won Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-25. The Denver Broncos, meanwhile, finished 4-12 and hold the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft this coming April.
Since one of my teams is currently at the top of the NFL and the other is dangerously close to the cellar, I figured that now would be a good time to ask:
What can the Denver Broncos learn from the Green Bay Packers?

Klis opens his mailbag with a parallel to Tennessee, who bounced back from a 59-0 loss to win five straight last year. Can the Broncos bounce back too? Is Tim Tebow in 2010 the answer? Why didn’t McDaniels give [...]

I can’t apologize for last week, I was within three points of my predictions (I just attributed the points to the wrong teams, that’s all– a simple typo (similar to the one that brought Wall Street to its knees a few months back)). The entire game I couldn’t stand the fact that we were running [...]

Darrelle Revis is 25. Champ Bailey is 32. Age notwithstanding, they’re the game’s best. The Ravens took advantage of defensive lineups where Jamal Williams and Justin Bannan weren’t on the field. The Jets will try to exploit the Broncos‘ young o-line with exotic blitz packages. Eerie similarities exist between Josh McDaniels‘ second Broncos unit and [...]

While it’s not a sure-thing, safety David Bruton figures to get the start in Brian Dawkins‘ and Darcel McBath‘s absence. Eddie Royal‘s return duties will increase. The defense may require shuffling all over to handle the plethora of injuries. Josh McDaniels wanted to see how his players handle adversity. He’s about to find out. Klis’ [...]
