Topping my list at number four, is the Immaculate Deflection. In a hard fought, defensive struggle that the Denver Broncos pretty much controlled until the final Cincinnati Bengals drive of the game, it took a miracle for the Broncos to come out on top 12-7. The victory would catapult a poorly coached team to a [...]

During the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft on April 27th, Arizona State Sun Devils quarterback Brock Osweiler received a call from a 303 area code. John Elway was on the other line. Quick hits on the developing Tuesday evening free agency signing period stories — It’s a good thing that the Denver Broncos have so much cap room, because a Peyton Manning contract would probably be for around four years, and $90 million. Although it originally wasn’t supposed to be, money has become The factor in the [...]

With all the speculation of the Broncos signing a tri-fecta of former Colts to team up with the big big fish Peyton Manning, Pierre Garcon’s name was mentioned among them. That clearly won’t be happening. Desperate for wide receiver help, the Redskin’s front office quickly signed the upstart wideout. Garcon posted the following to his [...]

Reunited and it feels so… well, weird for this Denver Broncos fan. Former Broncos BFF’s Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler are about to be teammates again after the Chicago Bears reportedly traded two third round draft picks to the Miami Dolphins to acquire the 27-year-old, high maintenance wideout. Marshall is the type of tall playmaker [...]

Much was made about Tebow’s ability to complete passes in 2011, not much was made about the Broncos receivers’ ability to catch them.
Overheard once in a Denver press box in regards to Tebow’s unique throwing style and the ability to hang on to said ball, “Have you ever caught a knuckleball?” Touché anonymous man, touché.
Given that Thomas and Decker have both spent two seasons more or less catching Tebow’s passes–unique or not– they should have the apparent uncanny ability to do so. It did look as though Brandon Marshall had returned to the lineup at several points in the season during last minute Tebow drives however.

During the first four seasons of his career, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall earned two Pro Bowl invitations while playing for the Denver Broncos. While in Denver (2006-2009), Marshall matched up against Broncos ten-time Pro Bowl cornerback Champ Bailey in practice nearly every day. “Probably a thousand times,” chuckled Bailey when asked how many [...]
