  • Former Denver Broncos linebacker Keith Burns has been a special teams assistant in Denver since 2007.  On Tuesday, he signed with the Washington Redskinsas their new special teams coordinator.
  • If the Minnesota Vikings do place wide receiver Percy Harvin on the trading block, Denver may be tempted to make an offer.
  • The Broncos aren’t in a dire cap situation, so restructuring quarterback Peyton Manning‘s contract isn’t something the team necessarily needs to worry about.

    Harvin doesn’t interest me in the slightest. He’s had two huge locker room blowups now with two different coaches (both times he had teammates come out and say he was in the wrong), he’s had mystery injuries, blowups with teammates on the sidelines… No interest in bringing in a guy that’s going to screw with team chemistry and Harvin will do just that.

    Probably not in the beginning but after a couple hard losses, a few games where he isn’t getting the ball as much as he wants… He has always been and will always be a massive diva. I’d take Amendola over him any day. Then again I wouldn’t take him so I guess it’s not saying much.

    I’ll miss Keith Burns. I’d also bet my last dollar / pound that he was the one who told Pat Bowlen about the video tape scandal that did for McDaniels

    Well, looks as if the Broncos must have made the right choice in drafting Von. I don’t see Marcell Dareus listed anywhere on the All-Under-25 Team . . .

    Dareus not being there doesn’t mean much. I agree with you ala Von. Just not sure what Dareus not being on some arbitrary list has to do with it.

    Of course, you’re correct. I was just making the point that Von was the superior selection over Dareus because of the controversy that raged at that time and even after Von was selected. My remark was borne of sarcasm more than anything. :)
