Broncos vs. 49ers: Preseason BT GameBlog

Two teams with unexpected playoff berths in 2011 — and high expectations in 2012 — collide today as the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers square off in Week Three of the 2012 preseason!

And (BT 2012 Preview spoiler alert), these two teams are my pick to go to the Super Bowl this year. Enjoy the preview folks.

Where to Watch

No need for live streams, legal or otherwise, today folks. The game is nationally televised, live, on Fox. Kickoff starts at 2:10 p.m. MT.

    The Broncos could really prove a lot this week with a solid performance against the 49ers. Payton Manning can really use this week’s game to make a statement about how the Denver offence is a real threat with him at the helm. I was talking to a coworker at Dish about Manning, and we both thought he was just making an appearance in the first 2 games while trying not to get hurt. In fact because my Hopper has a huge storage capacity I still had both of the games, and watching them again only confirmed that Manning was not really playing hard. Going back to the tapes is always better than just looking at the stats, especially in the preseason. Today we will see if the Broncos are interested in making a statement that they are one of the real contenders.
