The Denver Broncos headquarters will be buzzing on Wednesday.  The team’s second week of organized team activities will kick off at 10:05 (a.m.) and will be open to the media.

The practice session will last approximately an hour and a half and will mark the first day on the job for Cory Undlin, who was hired by the team on Tuesday as the new defensive quality control coach.  The position became vacant after Wayne Nunnely retired and Jay Rodgers was promoted to defensive line coach.

Undlin joins the Broncos after spending the previous three seasons as Jacksonville’s secondary coach under Broncos Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio.  Entering his ninth season in the league, Undlin has spent time with Jacksonville (2009-11), Cleveland (2005-08) and New England (2004).

To top it all off, Broncos defensive lineman and Air Force 1st Lt. Ben Garland will be officially sworn-in as a member of the 140th Wing of the Colorado Air National Guard at 2:00 (p.m.) by Brig. Gen. Trulan A. Eyre in front of the Denver Broncos’ Dove Valley facility.  Garland, who will be assigned to the 140th Wing of the Colorado Air National Guard as a public affairs officer, originally signed with the team in 2010 as a college free agent.

For fans, the action doesn’t stop there.  On Wednesday evening, two additional Broncos will be revealed in NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2012 list and Tim Lynch will be revealing the third-best defensive play in Denver Broncos history.

Wednesday may be just another day in the middle of the work week during a boring NFL offseason, but it will mark a busy day at Dove Valley. Â
