The Denver Broncos re-signed fullback Austin Sylvester Wednesday, who was a free agent, the club announced.

Sylvester, an undrafted rookie out of Washington in 2011, spent five weeks on the Broncos’ practice squad before joining its active roster for the team’s final two contests. He did not appear in any games.

With Spencer Larsen set to become an unrestricted free agent, the signing makes Sylvester (6-1, 255) the only fullback on the team’s 2012 roster.

Man, if he can throw the football we will have TWO fullbacks that can kill em in mismatches!

We had a fullback….he must have been in hiding with the tight ends…..

How about they re-sign Peyto Hillis back from the Browns. I’m pretty sure he’s a free agent!

A 255 lb Fullback fits nicely with Fox’s running game.  Much easier on 3rd down and 1 to follow a guy that big.

A fullback !!! what a concept. Were already the #1 rush offense now we’ll have major beef leading the way.
