As it was last week, the staff here at Broncotalk is far too excited and nervous to run a live blog during the game.  You die hards will understand when you want to focus on the game nothing can get in the way.  With that said, here is the open thread for today’s game.  Drop us some comments and share with other fans.  As always you can find us on twitter.  Kyle @Broncotalk, Josh: @Crosshare77, Jon @broncoszone, Earl: @ehasleymiles, Mr. East: @Mr_East_BT.

As long as is a QB I’m happy.

I’m ready for the off season as well. This season has been too much of an out of control roller coaster.

Yep! Got to be a QB… Move up for it if need be.

    Not to dog TT though.

But not getting Viable Competition (free agent or draft) would not only be strait up stupid it would also hurt the the Team.

I’m going to give this whooping to McCoy. Game 1 vs NE, Ninkovich was a wrecking ball, and ALWAYS in the back field…this game was no different. He was breathing down Tebow’s back the whole game. How does this guy go unaccounted for? TWICE!?!?!?!!!?

Defensively..what are you going to do? Its Tom Brady vs a crappy young and old secondary. What do you want? A shut out? Really? Once again, we were too scared of Brady beating us, which was rightfully so. We sold out to the pass, and had ZERO pass rush, which brings me to my next point….

This team NEEDS alot this off season. There’s plenty of time and many more threads to chime in with what I think we should do in the off season but off the top of my head..interior defensive line (we needed that last year, so nothing new there), a QB that can spot the wide the F open receivers, and an off season for our young secondary.

One last thing..I love that Von Miller was the center of the skirmish towards the end of the game. Unclassy, uncalled for, out of line…yes… But it showed how much emotion this guy has. He was angry, and I don’t blame him. He’s going to be our staple. And I commend him.

My hats off to the BT staffers and regulars. You guys were top notch, as always, this year.

The draft or trade is really our only shot at a QB..the way the FA QB market looks, isn’t good.

No. NE just has a dominant D-Line, that gets into the backfield and disrupts.

New Englands offense ain’t no joke. Our defense hand their hands full…and then some.

Mercy rule..pfffft…We held the Pats to 10 points in the 2nd half! LOL!

Thats what all the so called experts and idiots like yourself predicted for us this year and look what happen. Enjoy your win and move along!

No question we got outplayed today by a better team. Regardless I’m still proud of this team and what they accomplished. Also proud of Tebow and how he handled himself this year. He is a class act. We have a lot to build on for next season and I can’t wait. BRONCOS 4 LIFE!!!!

    That’s something McD teaches.

lol… Yo mean they held themselves to 10 points in the second half. Unfortunately they could have kept scoring if they had wanted to.

And really I say why not, to me it looked like a practice session for them in the second half, why not take advantage of that and prepare for more games to come???

Nope it for sure doesn’t right now thats for sure. The only one worth taking is Drew but we all know he isn’t leaving the Saints. They will keep him to retirement!

Hats off to the Broncos and their exciting season. I have enjoyed watching them play. As for Saturday’s game….I am at a loss for words. Yes, the Patriots are a good team and have the 2nd worst defense in the NFL……but I believed the game should have had a much different outcome.

It sure didn’t hurt the Pats any to have the Broncos assistant head coach now in their booth. That’s how the 2nd worst defense in the NFL looks like the #1 best defense in the NFL.

I don’t care if the Pats were going to hire McDaniels no matter who they faced in the playoff game. He should never have been allowed inside the stadium. Unfair advantage, you bet your a$$.

The NFL is going to look into changing the rules on coaching changes and I hope that they change to rule to….  a coach, whether he is the head coach, all the way down to the last man on the coaching totem pole, may not change to a different team once preseason games have started. They can be let go from a team but they may not be picked up to coach another team until the end off the NFL season, including playoffs and superbowl.

Much luck to the Broncos next season, can’t wait to see what happens.
