Denver Broncos

We missed Week 12, so check out last week’s rankings in parenthesis to keep track of how the Broncos are moving up the Power Rankings. At 6-5, the Broncos have a winning record for the first time in two seasons! Do the rankings reflect that?

ESPN: 16th (17)
Defense’s roll can easily continue at mediocre-to-bad Minnesota. (Kuharsky)

FOX: 15th (15)
Von Miller is making a case for Defensive Player of the Year, let alone Rookie of the Year. Let’s face it, Tim Tebow has been a fun story, but it is this defense that is really winning them games. In the last three games, Tebow and the Broncos have averaged just 16 points, with a high of 17 points, and that won’t win many games in the NFL.

CBS: 15th (19)
How long can the Tebow magic continue? It sure has to be fun for Broncos fans as long as it does.

National Football Post: 14th (15)
Tim Tebow is 5-1 as a starter and the Broncos’ defense is playing at a top-tier level..

Walter Football: 13th (16)

The Computers

USA Today Covers: 15th (18)
Power Ratings compute offensive and defensive statistics into one number for each team, while accounting for factors like recent performances and strength of schedule.

WhatIfSports: 25th (30)
WhatIfSports.com utilizes its football simulation to rank all 32 NFL teams. To come up with the rankings, each team plays every other team 10,000 times

Where would you rank the Broncos heading into Week 13?

Wow something accurate, fair and balanced from Fox.

Fox Sports and Fox News are two different animals.  If you prefer we can always solicit Christiane Amanpour for her opinion.

  • Troyn

Actually, Foxnews is generally far mor accurate than Foxsports.  Probably because Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long don’t work in the news division….

I think espn should fire all the announcers on monday night football, that talk bad about the broncos, said tebow wouldn’t win a game, and they wouldn’t show the broncos highlights,, its shows how much they really know about pro football. or they should be made to get on there desk and do the tebow on  national tv.
