  • “You can put any tape you want to of Tennessee and there’s going to be 10 penalties,” Josh McDaniels said. “You either coach it or you allow it to happen. That’s how I look at that.”
  • Jeff Fisher responds: “We play aggressive — we don’t play cheap. If there are things after the whistle or during the play, players are fined for them. But we’re not a cheap football team. I don’t know what he’s referring to. We did have six sacks against the quarterback and numerous other times they did have some difficulty with protection and blocking our defensive line. Maybe he’s referring to that.”

    To quote Jim Rome… SCOREBOARD!

McD's got a lot of balls calling out one of the most respected coaches in the league.

  • guest

he's not wrong though. the numbers dont lie. coming into our game with tenn, they averaged 9 penalties per game. it's probably safe to say they commit one that doesnt get called.

  • Mokptt

can anybody tell me why we called timeout with 25sec or so left at the end of the first half. giving TN time to run down n kick that fg to tie the game??

  • Guess

McD is a confident coach. Has quite the ego. I think the players feed off this and I think he will be a good coach for Denver for a while. Once our O-Line gels together, our running game will be good. We all know what we can already do with the passing offense. Image when we are a balanced offense. We will be scary.

How does Jeff Fischer still have a job? Oh that's right, Bud Adams is delusional.

  • John616

yeah, no explanation for that. That's 3 pts we gave 'em.

“The Broncos may not need a running game to be successful in this decade’s NFL”.

    BULL ROAR!

You can't win 12 or 13 games in a season with ONLY a running game, but you'll get your quarterback killed without one!

It's only a matter of time before Kyle Orton gets injured if we continue to HAVE to throw 50+ times per game. An effective 100+ yards per game by the running backs will only enhance Orton's effectiveness in the aerial game, and help dissuade the blitz and some of the pass rush. Besides, first and goal from the one isn't asking too much of our backfield, is it?

K-Man (the Bronco) has done well, so far, but 6 sacks is too many, and I would rather see Tebow come in as an effective change of pace on some offensive plays and not because Kyle is laying there broken.

    We need Peyton Hillis!

Think the Brownies would take Quinn back and say: “Nevermind”! (?)

Is Noshon like when you buy a new car with cash then discover that you will get nothing if you try to sell it ,so you might as well try to get some use out of it by driving it until a better deal comes by .

Fisher has his head so far up his ass, I'm now grimacing. That his players and his DC got fines for being dumb is solid evidence that they are dirty, and that he indeed coaches it. He should be lucky his stupidity isn't sanction-able by the league. He smacks of indignation cos THE FREAKIN' BRONCOS beat his team w/o being slutty cheap. Karma, beeeeyotch~!
