Brandon Marshall could return to Denver… sort of

A 2011 NFL player lockout would propel Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall back to Denver, Marshall told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The catch? Marshall wouldn’t be a Bronco; he’d be playing basketball, and trying out for the NBA’s Denver Nuggets.

“My first team will be the Nuggets and my second team will be the Heat — I’m serious,” Marshall said.

“There’s not going to be any football. If there’s a lockout, I have to find a job. I figure the Nuggets will be a better choice because of the welcome home cheer I’ll get — a couple of boos at first. I’m gonna get with a basketball coach and get to work, prepare for the lockout.”

Marshall played high school basketball, so it’d be an uphill battle, but we wouldn’t put it past the 6’4″ Pro Bowler.

But… Denver? Doesn’t he hate this ****ing town?

    see this is what i'm talking about… in my last post i stated that we just got out a bad receiver relationship…. I still have residual feelings… I dont care what Denver franchise he plays for or even if he is on the golf course caddying for Bubba Watson… This guy only has produce for denver.. still dont see why McD just didnt pay him… but i guess with time feelings will dimmer… D. Thomas better throw his best Marshall impression…. but its pretty hard to break like 7 tackles turning a short pass to a 72yard touchdown as your first NFL touchdown in Denver… good try

    Why is space on this blog being wasted with this garbage. The practice updates have been horrible for nearly a week now. Nobody seems to have any information on Thomas or Decker, especially Decker. How about some reporting on the “current” Broncos…you know the players in “our” camp.

    First of all let's get something straight, Marshall is neither 6'4 or 230 pounds. I am an ex bouncer of a very prominent Orange County Gentlemans club and we had players coming in ALL the time. I once stood next to Tony Gonzalez and shook his hand. Let me tell you, at 6'1 and 230 pounds I dwarfed the guy.

    Tony btw is listed at 6'5 245 and was neither as tall, nor as big as I was.

    Marshall is a retard that just pissed off his entire coaching staff and justified why the Bronco's fired him.

    Marshall is all about Marshall and it came through again loud and clear. He's got his fresh start, a new fat contract and what does he do… talk about his new team mates, nooooo…. talk about helping the team get back to the playoffs, noooo… even mention the word winning, noooo… he talks about wanting to play basketball when the lock out happens.

    I am glad this jackass is out of here. His shelfishness and stupidity FAR outweigh his skills, which is saying a lot.
