schadenfreude — [shahd-n-froi-duh]

N. Satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else’s misfortune.

It’s really time the AFC West was represented by someone in the playoffs who didn’t totally embarrass themselves. Another San Diego electric chokejob. Go Broncos 2010!!

Greene mocking LT during that TD celebration was priceless.

Hey Kyle, you gotta put up this picture for this story: http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2010/0117/nfl_g_sgre

    I'm just totally thrilled! . . . . the Charger's are me-first . . . self-centered pukes! . . . . they don't show an ounce of sportsmanship unless their winning! . . . and if they are losing . . . . the crying begins . . . . to the ref's . . . . to the fan's . . . . nasty comments from the sidelines . . . the finger-pointing never stops . . . . prima-donna's! . . . . oh by the way . . . good-bye LT . . . . fat chance you'll get five million next year . . . . .

  • F U Rivers

It like Christmas when I was five. I'm so happy.

  • No Chargers No Mo

Thank the Football Gods. The Chargers are such a spoiled team. Can we finally put this team to rest? I am tired of hearing how talented they are. They are just like Dallas: All this “talent” and nothing to show for it. Not even a Super Bowl appearance.
Thumbs up tp your 2 picks Mr. Rivers.

  • Joe

I'm lovin everything about this. I, just like everyone else, hate the Chargers and they got it taken to em today. Now all those announcers can shut the hell up about how they are such a good team and how nothing is in there way to getting in the superbowl and such. No one guessed that the rook QB and the Jets would be the team to take them outta the playoffs. And now I cant wait to see Total Access and everything on tv, see how all those “pro analysts'' dont know what they are talking about! Thank you to all the Dolt fans, I love seeing the Chargers choke year after year…..But this all stops next year, its Denvers turn to go to the playoffs and beyond!

  • Joe

I love going to Bill Williamson's blog and seeing that the rest of the AFC West division team fans are all ripping on the Chargers fans!!! Charger fans are ignorant, cocky, and pathetic. Always talking crap until they choke it up every year in the playoffs. To point out some good points people were making in the comments on ESPN.com, “all of the teams in the AFC West division have a Lombardi Trophy, except for the Chargers. Charger fans put the Lombardi Trophy in the catagory with the unicorns, bigfoot, and the lochness monster. Just a myth.” Man I love reading these type of comments from other AFC West fans and the Charger fans have no response to it. Charger fans are dumb. If I was the owner of the Chargers, I would trade away Gates, LT, Rivers, Jackson, etc. for draft picks and just draft a whole new team. The one they have now clearly doesnt want to, and doesnt know how to win the big game!! HAHA

Bravo Kyle. I personally would've went with this.

    But you kept it highbrow.

  • Joe

Now thats F###### awesome!!!!! Kyle, that has to be the pic for create-a-caption! Its perfect.

  • Gary_in_SD

Ha ha, yet another year of having to feel the pinch of your superbowl cherries “static” fans! This may have been your decade within the division, but we still have something (2 of them that is) that no one can ever take from us and you can only still just dream about! Until you get one, you'll always be seen in powder blue dresses by the rest of the AFC West!

  • Gary_in_SD

Thank you Jets for making my Monday here in SD a beautiful day, even though it's supposed to rain… I can't wait to dish it out at work to all who make life in So Cal tough on Bronco fans!

  • mikebirty

When you look at what the Jets did:
    – a turnover hungry defense
    – a dynamic running game
    – a powerful offensive line
Which is exactly what the Broncos want to do and they were 2/3 of the way there this year.

  • broncoinva9986

I love how San Diego fans come on this website and try to trash us….all I see is 2 Lombardi trophies in our case….with NONE in theirs. You Suck San Diego just like the TOP 40 music they play at your staduim…ever heard of Metallica…keep talking out your a** San Diego on the toilet bowl can hear ya

  • anthony33

I wonder who's ass Shaun Phillips is going to kick today… bitch.

  • Rob_Bronco

That game was beyond epic. The Chargers really controlled the tempo during the first half, and thanks to a few Kaeding misses, lead 7-0 at the half. But the Jets did a magnificent job of adjusting. They changed from a zone to man defense, and there was no looking back. I think the Jets have given the Broncos the recipe on how to consistently beat the Chargers. Put pressure on Rivers, play man coverage, and contain their running game.

I am THRILLED that the J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS! knocked the Chargers out yet AGAIN, and I'll be basking in their misery for quite some time :)

  • Gary_in_SD

We all learned something yesterday… The Swedish word for “goat” is Kaeding!

  • JayInSD

In the first meeting between the Broncos and Chargers, the Broncos D took it to Rivers right up the middle. Much like the Jets yesterday. The recipe is there, but the coaching staff has to believe and keep up the pressure. The second game the D barely blitzed and even Rivers was surprised. Result was a loss.

  • broncorelic

“Charger fans put the Lombardi Trophy in the catagory with the unicorns, bigfoot, and the lochness monster.” Outstanding! Priceless!

  • broncorelic

Kaeding for mayor! Freaking chump… Did you see Rivers' face after the second and third miss!

  • ocbronco

I hear ya Gary! Couldn't be a brighter day in So Cal despite the rain!

  • Gary_in_SD

Saw a charger hat on the side of the freeway this morning here in San Diego. Thought I die laughing!

  • broncofansince1972

Yeah, Im pretty butt hurt too. Last year we had a 4 game lead with four to play, and lost. this year we were 3 1/2 games up, and lost by 5 games. So we pride ourselves on hating another team who basically kicked our ass 32-3 at home last meeting. And with LT gone they are gonna draft a good running back, and Im hearing talk they are gonna sign Brandon Marshall too. Im tired of hanging my hat on what Elway did decades ago. And cheering for other teams to beat the chargers. WE are the true choke artists if you think about it..
