UPDATE: Denver Broncos 2010 Schedule

DENDENVER BRONCOS 2010 OPPONENTS
HOME AWAY

San Diego

Seattle
N.Y. Jets
Kansas City
Oakland
San Diego
Jacksonville

There will be plenty of time to dissect The Season of False Promise that was the Denver Broncos in 2009, but for now, we can take an early look ahead at 2010.

The Broncos’ 16 opponents in 2010 have been announced, with the actual week-by-week 2010 Denver Broncos schedule expected in March or April. In 2010, the Broncos will play:

  • The AFC West (as usual)
  • The AFC South, featuring the 14-0 Indianapolis Colts and other teams averaging exactly .500.
  • The NFC West.
  • Both AFC Wild Card playoff teams, the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets.

*UPDATE: The NFL announced that the Broncos’ 2010 regular season game against the San Francisco 49ers will be played in London, England on October 31st.

The NFC West makes this a slightly easier schedule, at least on paper, than the 2009 Denver Broncos schedule, but the Broncos still have their work cut out for them in the AFC.  How does the slate of opponents look to you, Broncos fans?  Let us know in the comments.

Season of False Promise: Excellent! Next year, who knows? Who knows who will be playing for the Broncos?

  • DantePakistan

Going to the Baltimore game, woooo!

  • http://broncotalk.net Kyle

Hope it's better than every other game, ever, for the Broncos in B'more!

  • igetdrunkwithko

I feel like we're a much better road team and just can't garner the intensity on our home turf. Hopefully we can nip the bolts before their usual, and irritating, late season hot streak

  • vince_mairne

Why is it every year we play Indy? Man!

  • http://twitter.com/dbroncos78087 Alex B

Going to start getting my hopes up now. I have faith in this team but i worry about some of those games. I mean how do we get stuck playing both wild card teams. But you play the schedule you are handed i guess.

    Go Broncos!

  • flbronc

six games agianst playoff teams, plus two against teams eliminated on the last day (hou, jax). thats a pretty rough go at it again.

  • Bill G

Hopefully we'll be scheduled to play the Colts at end of year… then all of their starters will be on the bench. That's the new NFL… you want to play the best teams last! (just ask the Jets!)

  • broncosfaninal

Sure seems we play them every year. Them and Baltimore.

  • broncoinva9986

I refuse to make any real predictions till I see how free agency and the drafts works out for us. It will not be as brutal as last year though….but we always find a way to lose three games we should never lose

  • Iowa Bronco

With the team we currently have, if they play similar to how they did this year, I see a 6-10 or 7-9 year for Denver.

I don't think the NFC West will quite be the cupcakes they have been. I Don't see Seattle improving much, but I do think the Rams will be better, and San Fran has been on the rise since Singletary took over. COuld be another tough season.

  • miro

easy or hard, if its a hard schedule then we can sorta tell the make up of the team..this season showed that we wore out and had no business in the playoffs, a lot of it was the coach with his dink and dank offense of 2-5 yards passes…if he doesnt trust orton(which i like) then he should get rid of him now…but that 2-5 yards passing attack of his has to go….it was terrible seeing it this whole season except the last game..he should get an offensive coordinator and let him call the plays, b-cause he sure suks at it..

  • James

This Home & Away schedule is incorrect..Broncos are going to Seattle in 2010..Verified this at several sites…I have been looking forward to this game for 8 years when the Hawks went to NFC..They played in Denver the last time they met…

  • jeffer1070

All of you Donkey fans that complain that they get the shaft need to join the rest of us on a reality break. The Donkeys stunk this year, they had a lucky run at the beginning of the year and their true colors showed when it mattered. They need a QB and line to protect him……Good lock next year, you will need it! LOL

  • garrett

Next year im predicting we go 11-5

  • garrett hill

My first ever NFL game is going to be the Denver Broncos @ Jacksonville Jaguars. Im sooo excited i finally get to see the broncos play. 2 seasons ago i think we played every florida team but they were all home games for the broncos lol. GO BRONCOS and DRAFT COLT MCCOY!!!

  • James

jeffer1070 who here is complaining?? Read the posts!

  • Tim

The Broncos could be in for some trouble if the 2008 chargers tell us anything. The travel can kill teams. Check out this great article about it at http://thesportsthought.com/

  • me

I agree that someone else should call the plays because he was so predictable. Running on first down almost every time. It was hard to watch.

  • broncodave

I am going to puke if Brandon Marshall doesnt play in a Bronco uniform next season if we lose him we are done he is a huge threat and if he is used properly everything else will open up the run game should also be better next year if Knowshon Moreno hits the wieghts i think he will be in much better nfl running back shape next season he will be a beast he was a touchdown machine in college. as for the schedule it doesnt look as bad as the last three or four years if we can start winning at home again than we will be have a chance at the playoffs!!!!!

  • jonsmith1709237821

I completly agree Brandon MArshall needs to play or we will suck

  • Nick

I refuse to be a Broncos fan until McDaniels is gone.

  • Al Bundy

I don't know what you are smoking, but we need more help in more places than QB. And Colt McCoy isn't going to be worth the finest out-house wall-paper as a pro.

  • Al Bundy

You sir, are wrong. The game is in Denver. I would like nothing more than to see Denver come to Seattle, as I live in Bellingham, but sadly they aren't this year.

  • Al Bundy

Then go root for the Raiders, you fair-weather fan. We don't need your type!

  • broncsfansince97

going to the st louis game, win or lose i still bleed orange and blue.

  • bob

marshal isnt the whole team…i agree that he is good but he needs to pull his head out and play as part of the team…and stop being a baby. He needs to patch up his relationship with mcdaniels too

  • bob

dude… seriously??? you can go cry because we dont have shannahan… it was mcdaniels first season and you need to pull your head out if you think that hes gonna be that great with a completely new team…

  • jesse

if broncos lose i will still go for the broncos

  • jesse

    trader

  • ben91

its nice to see after missing the playoffs 3 years running, there are still fresh excited fans! I think McDaniels and Marshall both are at fault. Marshall is way too good to get rid of. But i also think McDaniels has something to offer the Broncos. He led us to a 6-0 start btw. Knowshon is gonna be great, I believe. And Royal needs to get the ball more! With Royal and Marshall, (and scheffler if mcdaniels would let his players PLAY!!!) damn would we have a killer offense…

  • Colby

I see denver at 9-7 this next year.

    wins against=
    KC= TWICE
    OAK= SPLIT 1-1
    SEA
    STL
    JAC
    BAL
    TEN
    AZ

WE WILL LOSE TO SD, SF, IND, HOU, ETC

WE DONT HAVE THE DEPTH YET….. WE WONT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AGAIN BUT 2011 WE WILL GO 12-4 WATCH!!!!

  • ClaymoreG2

Josh McDaniels is going to fail just like every other coach that came out of New England.

I think this year is going to sloppy i mean kyle orton might not return and we end up taking colt mccoy out of texas or dan lafever out central michigan but my hopes is on kyle orton, and elvis dumervil returning because we all know marshall is not coming back or maybe he will

  • HOF 44

Why all the negativity ? I have seen teams that were 14-2, go 5-11. We can't speculate on our schedule. Every game will be tough, they always are. We all know our QB is just sitting in until we find the right one. He is good enough to get us to the playoffs, but most likely not much farther. Most of us remember how a TEAM can come together “1977” Not much offensive talent, but a ton of heart and we played as a TEAM. Yes Brandon a TEAM.

hmm, Better then last years schedule. heres my take on how we'll do this year.

    Sweep Raiders, 2-0
1 win at home but lose at there staduim against, KC 3-1
1 tough but manable win at home SD but lose there, 4-2 (not bad for division.
Houston game we win at home, 5-2
Indi…. I say payback win for us, 6-2 (The game I want the Broncos to win most like the pats game last year)
Win against rames at home, 7-2
Sea hawks, (old riviles), close game but we come out on top, 8-2
jets, close but I'll say we come out on top, 9-2
    Jacksonvile and Tennesee, lose, 9-4
    cardnarls, win, 10-4
San Fransico at England, win, 11-4
at baltimore again, payback win, 12-4

12-4 not bad at all, that record would bring us to the playoffs. I predicted 9-7 last year and we were 8-8 so I wasn't far off last year. Nothing with Marshall is offical, and we should still have orton and dr. doom. But nothing can be offical. We'll be a better team next year just watch. I just hope we draft this ILB. with him we do great, just hope he's still there by the 11th pick. Alot of teams want him.

  • Kling55

I am deffinitly excited about this next season, especially since we managed to get Quinn for so cheap, it might just be me, but I was really high on Quinn coming out of college, and I still am, I think he could be a great player and I am excited to have him in the blu and orange, I think we have a chance to make the playoffs next year, but even if we don't I'll still be bleeding blue and orange! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!

  • Orangecrush

I agree that Brady Quinn should improve our offense. Orton is decent but Quinn has more raw athletic ability and can throw the deep ball. I am really happy about the defensive line improvements too. Now all we have to do is draft McLain as our ILB to replace Davis and Dez Bryant to replace Marshall and we will be good to go.

  • broncofan30

    you're retarded

  • HOF44

The only thing Quinn brings to the table this year is a quality backup!!!!!

  • BHD4444

Orton is a scrub!!!!! He needs to be sitting on the bench!!! Then we will see huge improvements in Denver

  • Anonymous

I agree with you man…You can’t trust Orton cuz he can’t throw deep at all… Like i said he is a scrub!!

  • Luis

Yeah i think losing Brandon Marshall wont reallly hurt the team

  • IWILLX2

i was at the Baltimore game last year. We lost. Trevor Pryce gave me the tickets. I will go again this year !

  • IWILLX2

i Do think McDaniels is going to be one of the greatest coaches in the NFL. He has only coached 1 year and didn't do a bad job with the personnel he had. He is building our team the way he know so it will be successful and when we win the CHAMPIONSHIPS he is going to help us win all of the nay-sayers will come biting and riding his jock. We will win with Josh McDaniels just give the man some time to develop our team.

Damn bro hook me up, I need two for the wife and myself.
