He’s been learning all season and he sure couldn’t screw up the offense worse than Orton. Oh, and install a vertical passing game. Enough of the bubble screens after a “play-action fake to the RB” on third and long. The defenses ignore the RB and know the Broncos will throw short and hope for a break-away run by the receiver. Enough! Enough! Enough! Make the defense adjust for medium to long passes on 2nd and 3rd and long.

Use Buckholter (sp) as the starting RB, if he is healthy (he appears to not be at full go the past few games) and put in Hillis for 3rd and 4th and short yardage. Bench Moreno (think the Bears would trade for him?) or only put him in as the ‘safety valve” receiver/back on third and long and not in the “maximum protection” set as he can’t block in addition to being too small and too slow.

Anyway, that’s the way I see it. Oh, and do you think Al Davis will let the Raiders win next Sunday if it means helping the Broncos into the playoffs? Neither do I. Not to mention, if, by some miracle the Broncos do make it into the playoffs, how much fun will it be to watch New England or Cincy take their revenge on the Broncos and blow them out. Both teams have a score to settle after losing games, on the road, to the Broncos, that they thought they should have won.
