you are correct if the third QB is placed in the game then the second or first QB cannot come back in. Now if your first string QB and second are injured and the third string goes in and if any of the first 2 QB's are cleared to go in then they can. But by rule now if any player has any concussion related injuries there day is over.

C'mon, McDaniels, are you f'ing kidding me? Hillis is a horse. We watched him move piles of 4-5 guys last year AND GAIN FIVE YARDS!! Is your ego so mammoth that you can't do what's good for the team?

PLAY THE BEST PLAYER, YOU MORON. In short-yardage situations, that would be HILLIS. Not Knowshon Moreno, and CERTAINLY not Lamont Jordan!!

I've said since Game 1 that Orton is a journeyman, career backup QB and not a starting NFL QB. It is pretty obvious that with his limited physical skills that anytime the Broncos are behind in the 4th Quarter, the game is lost.

Add to that Coach McDs second big mistake, wasting a 12 pick on NoShow Moreno and the Broncos just don't have an NFL offense. Is Coach McD the only one in Denver that can't see that Moreno is a first round bust? He's too small to power up the middle between the tackles and too slow to get outside. He's sort of a Tatum Bell without the break-away speed. Surely Hillis couldn't do any worse. Time to put your pride away McD and move Moreno down the depth chart.

Sorry buddy. I've never heard of that one. Here is what I could find:

Players-Substitutions

1. Each team is permitted 11 men on the field at the snap.
2. Unlimited substitution is permitted. However, players may enter the field only when the ball is dead. Players who have been substituted for are not permitted to linger on the field. Such lingering will be interpreted as unsportsmanlike conduct.
3. Players leaving the game must be out of bounds on their own side, clearing the field between the end lines, before a snap or free kick. If player crosses end line leaving field, it is delay of game (five-yard penalty).
4. Offensive substitutes who remain in the game must move onto the field as far as the inside of the field numerals before moving to a wide position.
5. With the exception of the last two minutes of either half, the offensive team, while in the process of substitution or simulated substitution, is prohibited from rushing quickly to the line and snapping the ball with the obvious attempt to cause a defensive foul; i.e., too many men on the field.

I see you have a rule book handy,so what is the rules concerning substituting a QB, I seem to recall that once the third Qb is put in he can`t be replaced by either of the previous two. Canyou clear that up anyone?
