Yes, he was always motivated during the years he played. I'm speaking hypothetically in a sense of how he might have played during the years post Elway had he stayed healthy. We had some good RBs during that time (Portis, Bell(s), Gary, etc), but did not have the kind of success that we obviously had when Elway and he played together. Would have that factored in, who knows?

Would really like to see every one of these great players listed here make it in. I feel they all have far exceeded the necessary accomplishments to to be recognized for it too. My personal preference though would have to be for TD to make it in. He's one of the greatest of all time and if he had stayed healthy and motivated, he'd probably own just about every record by now.

I understand the voters having their reasons againstugg classic cardy cheap Little and Davis (even though I feel very strongly both belong), but Sharpe’s denial into the Hall last year was ridiculous. ugg classic cardyThe committee needs to do these players justice.

TD has no chance. He only has four productive seasons on his resume. Those four years were excellent, but it's not enough.

Terrell Davis in the hall? Let's examine facts. Only seven seasons in the NFL the reason he's being kept out? They can shove that argument. Five 2K yard rushers in NFL history and TD is one of them. Not to mention two rings and a Super Bowl MVP. Gayle Sayers (who also played for seven seasons) went into the Hall six years after his retirement.

Gradishar? One of the most dominating defensive players of his era? Absolutely. Not in the Hall? Simply a crime.

Sharpe- redefining the TE position for the entire league? I think he'll get in this year, but should have been in last year. Oh wait- he only played on the east coast for a few years. Too many years in Denver could doom him. Hall voters hate the city of Denver.

Floyd Little? Wish I'd been alive to see him play. But again- he's a Denver guy. I used to think this talk about a bias against Denver was BS, but I'm really starting to think it's true.
