Well, from what I remember, Shanny didn't “waive” hixon. He was released from the PS only to be SIGNED to the active!
I've said all along, timing is half the game.
Denver is catching NYG healthier than they've been in WEEKS! During their losing streak they were missing KEY defensive players, and along with Eli's Plantar injury, that meant losses. Now, they're getting everybody back and Eli's injury has been addressed.
My, how a couple weeks make a difference…..

I wish I had a better feeling about today, but I don't. Too inconsistent on offense. Defensive front seven has been exposed.

McD has made a lot of mistakes, as you would expect, in his first year.

Mistake number 1...abandoning the run scheme when you still have Turner and Dennison on the staff.

Mistake 2...hired the wrong guy as special teams coach

Mistake 3...should have been investing all the backup QB time in Brandstater rather than Simms.

Mistake 4...needs a player personnel guy...the draft was terrible.

I know most of this is hindsight...so be it...that's when mistakes are exposed.
