In my humble opinion, Andre Goodman deserves a seat at the Duds table. Sure, some of the passes thrown his way were the result of a lack of pressure on Rivers. However, from my perspective he responded to the target on his back with lazy play, poor tackling and giving receivers more space for catching. At least when champ was burned, champ made the tackle.

What ever happened to the aggressive style on D that got us to 6-0? Even last week we weren't blitzing and playing a lot of zone against Jason Campbell? Why weren't we in man to man and blitzing such an inaccurate qb? Think about it, we have Champ, Goodman, Hill, B-Dawk, and now Ty Law and we were in zone??? With Rivers you have to blitz to provide pressure and play man to man at least a little more than zone or he'll tear you apart. Some of us watchin can see a little more of whats going on than the coaches in the booth. Wake up and do the things that got you the 6 wins so it won't be so frustrating to watch and let's get back in this thing!!! GO BRONCOS!!!

What really pissed me off about yesterday was the amount of players that quit. Playing undiciplined on D (not minding their gaps), and getting torn apart on the offense are both evidence of this. What really stuck in my craw though was the ring-leader of the quitters- Chris Simms. After a piss-pour outing, and benching, Simms isn't even routing for his teammates. The camera shows him smiling and chatting on the bench like his team has a 50 point lead with 30 seconds remaining in the game. Unacceptable.

I loved seeing Marshall and Moreno mixing it up on the sideline, however. It showed they have passion and were disgusted (as they should be) with the teams play. I wish more of our players were that emotionally invested in our team.

McBath is a stud. I watched him in college and the kid is a player. Bruton is also looking good on special teams in my opinion. I am also frustrated by the fact that Nolan has gone away from the aggressive style of play we saw earlier in year. Especially with a quarterback like Rivers who hates to get out of the pocket and really looks like an uncoordinated girl when trying to throw on the run. In terms of scheme a couple people mentioned the three four where the outside backers were covering recievers. This is crazy and unfair to those guys. When an offense is in a four wide set you should at least have five dbs on field.

Seriously, the wine last night helped make up for a game that was just as demoralizing as the final Denver-San Diego game last year!
