Depressed, I shared the same thoughts as I watched Bell, he looked sharp and confident. I also morn the loss of Trevor Price, which I thought was a Shanny blunder at the time, and I have no reason to change my mind.

Nick

I mention this early in the season. Who knows i guess he was flattered with the Selvin Young and Andre Hall Project. I really don't know why they release the guy he had a noise for the end zone and he took care or the ball. Way better than Tatum Bell. His was surely more durable than Micheal Pittman, PJ Pope, Alex Hayes, Byrd, Selvin Young, Andre Hall, Peyton Hillis, Ryan Torain, and Tatum Bell again. Damn thats a long list of backs we went through during the time he was release to the beginning of this season.

This is as good a time as any to ask this question. It's not pertaining to this story, but I figured someone must know the answer.

Why in the world did Shanahan give up so fast on Mike Bell. He is doing awesome for the league's best team right now, and I thought he was extremely impressive for us as an undrafted rookie free agent. And then all of a sudden Shanahan decided he was worthless.

He is exactly the type of player we should have kept and developed more. Instead the Saints reap all the benefits. What is the deal? In my opinion it just seems like another example of why the game past Shanahan by, showing why he had to go.
