It is a great article, but it also rightly assesses that a lot of the success has to do with big playmakers the Shanahan regime drafted at low cost (Marshall, Dumervil, Kuper, Harris, Royal, etc.). Shanahan was both the problem and part of the solution with his deft drafting. Whodathunk that 2 years ago?

that is a good article from the DP… McD & Co. did an amazing job of rebuilding a team with less money available than most… McD has cleaned up a mess left by shanny and was still able to build a competitive team… this is how to coach and build a team… who would have thought all those crazy off season moves would make so much sense. McD is a smart dude.

orange page may be to “older crowd” but thanks to BroncoTak for making this blog readable with without having to lase it with cuss words every two sentences. I had never heard of Orange Page till i saw this link.. i was sick of it after two mins. Thanks for keeping it about sports, and not clobbering the English language in the process.
