Berger was a free agent cuz he probably averaged 25yds/punt!! My 4 year old niece could do better than that!! Maybe the high altitude will help him out.

The depth chart says Orton would be the holder if Kern went down. I don't forsee Orton being the holder so I think you're right when you say someone like Simms would be the holder.

Please don't tell me this guy makes more than Orton or Marshall? If he does Bowlin needs to get his checkbook out fast! I saw over the weekend Orton gets paid $995,000.00 which sounds like an an awful a lot to us, is crap considering he is currently a top 5 NFL QB. I think Marshall is 1.1?

I always thought he was better than his numbers but this year he can't hide behind poor coverage. So if Berger is the reigning superbowl champion punter – why is he a free agent?

o_0 I still don't understand this move. Kern has put on some great punting clinics this season. I still say one game does not make a career. If we're going to be this proactive, why aren't we looking at Kicker? Prater currently sits at 75%, tied for 22nd in there with Akers and Reed.
