Loved how Phyllis ran his mouth even after just putting up a nice 3 -n- out on his first series. That was the last of him I saw talking. He took a nice hit to the mouth all night long. Way to go Bronx and congrats to a great start!!

There is no doubt to what you said about him. Been very impressed with his football IQ so far. The guy is smart and makes up for not having a gun for an arm with good common sense… The sack he took near the end of regulation of the NE game was a good example. He was in big trouble and for a second I thought he might try and force it out into traffic, which he had time to do. He ate it like he needed to and the punt helped insure OT. And of course that very big win.

Funny you mention you'd rather have third and six or eight as opposed to third and one. I said the same thing on several occasions last night.

They are going to have to start throwing, screening or doing some odd ball things on third and one for a while to loosen things up a bit.

With the exception of the socks, I like them. Plain, simple and tough look.

Kind of wish they would stay in them all year, again, with the exception of those socks.

Maybe another cerimonial burning of the socks should take place this Sunday in lieu of a Bronco game???

Two weeks to prepare for the Ravens! Their defense is solid, but McD and Nolan will have another master strategy even if it evolves in the 2nd half. I had my Eddie Royal jersey on all day today working in the yard thinking about the game. I was so pleased, to say the least! Go Broncos!
