That note about Knowshon Moreno knowing he was going to play the whole time pisses me off as a fantasy owner. Not pissed at Knowshon, pissed at ESPN telling me not to play him. I would've had an easy win this week, but no…. now I have to pray that Patrick Crayton scores me 8 points tonight.

The real part of the season starts this week. 3-0 is nice but been there done that.

You need to pray, fast, hell – sacrifice a lamb for that buddy! ;)

um legit??? no not quite yet. lets not forget we have played 2 very weak offensive teams and got a lucky tipped pass against Cincy. that doesnt qualify us as legit. yes im happy we are 3-0 BUT also keep in perspective we beat 2 bums and got lucky against Cincy. if we can go out and beat Dallas and New England and San Diego THEN we can be considered legit. if we can win 2 of those 3 games then we could be considered legit. i really think we would have to go AT LEAST 4-4 the next 8 games to have a chance at a postseason birth.

Legit? no not yet. we went 3-0 last year also and that ended badly. but are we on the rise? yes. and ill be the first to admit being wrong about this team WHEN they show they can beat the top teams and not just beat bums.

He is a feast or famine type of fantasy player, I look at it as 50/50 shot to win tonight. :D

Kerry, is there any chance you write copy for a greeting card company? Or maybe deliver flowers to little old ladies for a living? Play with puppies at the SPCA? I have to know your secret for staying so positive.
Here's the thing: we're all conditioned to see the Broncos as on the brink of falling off the cliff into misery, because that's what we've done most every year since Elway retired (one or two exceptions to that, but in general) under Shanny's regime. That's why I wanted Shanny out; we started fast and faded every time.
This is NOT a Shannahan team. Unlike in years previous, each of the three wins was successively more convincing. One can't help but think our offense is just getting its feet under it, and will only improve going forward. As for the defense, Mike Nolan has a track record in that department. I see plenty of reason for optimism.
Also, for the record, I know we got lucky against Cincy, but we also held their offense down for 95% of the game, which is more that Pittsburgh or Green Bay managed.

He's right. It's too early to start talking about this team being a serious contender.

Enjoying the ride so far and don't see the need to over-analize things at this point. Sure the opponents haven't been like what they'll face in the weeks to come, but they're beating them impressively so why not feel enthused by these first few games!
