This is a blog about the signing of Nick Greisen.. Please look at the Ravens defense last year! This man was good enough to Back-up Ray Lewis & i KNOW you wouldn’t mind having him help bring the 3-4 to Denver. This also means that he was good enough to play special teams for a team that had quality special teams. Not to mention the leadership abilities he gained along with the knowledge from working with one of the best defenses in the league. NO rookie can bring that to the field. GREAT PICK UP!

I think our defense will be amazing in 2011, after we have had two solid years to draft players and revamp the system with experience. I only hope to be anywhere less than the top 20 next year.

As for the offense…I think it’s going to be in the top 5 again. Our running game is going to be sick. Our recievers are top notch. We have depth. As for Orton, Simms, or Brandstater…we have a proven system that is dynamic with a solid line, a solid run game, and recievers. We just need a guy to manage the clock right now.

I’m trully excited about our first four picks (Moreno, Ayers, and Smith especially).

Next year hopefull draftees: Eric Berry (S) out of Tennessee and/or Taylor Mayes (S) USC. If we can put one of these guys under the wing of Dawkins and Bailey….watch out. Also, I believe Tebow to be on of the most underated, dynamic football players in the league. If we develop into a running power house, Tebow could be the middle link between a killer passing team and killer running team…he’s got fire inside of him and that’s what we need.

I think McD has some stuff cooking right now…can’t wait.

Larry Foote is being cut because he isn’t any good any more. Check out a Steelers board, the fans are happy he’s out. We have guys with more upside, all he would bring is familiarity in the 3-4.

Foote wants to play for the Lions. If they make him an offer, you can bet he is going to take it. If he is serious about playing for his home team, nothing short of a snub by the lions will stop it. He would be great, but probably won’t happen.

On the other hand, I am ecstatic about the signings. The special teams were largly ignored by the former regime, and it can make or break a team. A giant Bravo Zulu to the new staff for adressing special teams.
