As a side note . . . let me add that Jay has an extraordinary opportunity presented to him . . .

He can take over the team . . . show up Monday . . . state that this is “My team” . . . . and solidify a leadership role . . . .

Pat Bowlen will turn to McD and say . . . “told you” . . . and McD will realize that trading Jay won’t ever be an option . . .

If he does not show up . . . that opportunity will be lost . . . and what happens from there is a crapshoot . . .

Thanks Mr. East . . . I felt I had to lend some levity and humor to a situation that is close to becoming a real tragedy . . . if you read my blog at #72 and add Bus Cook as one of the flamethrowers, I really feel that Jay might be persuing and causing his own demise at Denver . . .

I’m hoping that he fires Bus Cook over the weekend and shows up Monday at Dove Valley . . . I do not believe he is going to find happiness or a better matched team to play with in the NFL than Denver . . . . unfortunately . . . the grass always looks greener. . . .

I left what I really think at blog #72 . . . . I think the time is right for the alternative point of view . . . .

A senior Analyst . . . a source “with the force” has just revealed that Jay Cutler flew to Tampon Bay over the weekend . . . .

Disguised as Ziggy Marley . . . Jay put aside his Tuoca wineskin and left-handed cigarette long enough to say he was crushed by the revelation that Bill Belichick was really his father and that Philip Rivers was his long estranged brother . . .

. . . said Jay, “I don’t care where I land, as long as it is the left coast of Florida . . . can you dig these palm trees? . . . I’m tired of freezing my can off . . . getting my can kicked and yelled at all the time by everybody . . . even Philip gives me grief and they ended 8-8! . . . anyway . . . if you think I’m going to show up Monday for some kind of conditioning crap . . . sit back . . . roll another fat one . . . and this time don’t bogart the damn thing! . . .

The senior analyst stated . . . “That whole Pro-Bowl thing was stressful for Jay . . . and all the goings on in the last few weeks have presented him with far too many aspects to consider what with these off-season conditioning programs and such . . . maybe in a few more weeks he will be “with the force” . . . but probably not anywhere that it’s cold.” . . .

Respect is a two way road. McDaniels needs to respect that Cutler is the franchise QB and Cutler needs to respect that McDaniels is the head coach and he can do what he wants.

Perhaps they should compromise and meet in Missouri to talk… haha.

I just watched around the horn earlier and everyone was on cutlers side except one dude. I think cowlishaw said it best if Cutler didn’t come to denver for the face to face meeting then hop on Bowlen’s private jet and go meet with him in Nashville, show him respect and I think that would have patched everything up by reaching out to jay.
