just a couple stats on Jay Cutler . . . our over-sensitive Q.B. . . . in 1993 John Elway threw for 4,030 yds. ( his most ever to that date) and 25 T.D.’s . . . it was his 11th yr. in the NFL . . . Jay Cutler threw for 4,526 yds. and 25 TD’s in his 3rd yr. and made the Pro-Bowl . . . and unfortunately either Q.B. during this time had crap for a defense to back him up . . .

This is going to change this year . . . not only has the offense improved with the competition at RB and the addition of Gaffney at WR . . . but we managed to steal a lightning fast defensive backfield from the Dolfin’s with Hill and Goodman . . . and an All-Pro Brian Dawkins to mentor them along with the Bailey brothers helping tudor and punch the outsides . . . also getting Reid from Indy was huge . . . . and we haven’t even gotten to the draft yet . . .

This will not be the same defense Bronco fans have endured the last three years! . . . I’ve already posted on other blogs that we will win the Superbowl next year . . . . most tired of hearing negative BS, maybe you are too . . . let’s start looking at the cup 4-5th’s full . . . . this is going to be an exciting year to come!

I thought 9-7 at best . . . now I’m jazzed . . . . 11-5 . . . defense will be ranked in the top ten . . . . offense in the top three . . . 6-2 at home . . . . 5-3 on the road . . . . will sweep S.D. . . . claim AFC West Champions . . . will defeat wildcard in first week and defeat conference opponent for AFC Champion and win the Superbowl by four points . . .
the Denver Broncos are going to stun the NFL! . . . . could be 12-4 . . . but I’m not quite sure about Indy away . . . . this glass is 4-5ths full . . . just remember a summa-beach told you so . . .

Well.. if he’s cheap, he provides depth at running back… and we found out how important that is last season !

I just have the image in my head of him on the sidelines with the Raiders trying to eat a towel at the end of a game where the Broncos had come back to win

When did I say that we were going to win super bowls? Seriously you have this problems with putting words in my mouth to try to make your negative point.

I never said just because he comes from the Belichick tree means he will win super bowls. Ask Mangini or Crennel? Do you even read the articles? Seriously?! I don’t think you do.

Google where Crennel, and Mangini all got their roots from. You’ll see McDaniels is different, his experience comes from his father, Nick Saban, then Belichick. However we cannot predict his success, even though you think you can, AND NO I’m not saying he will be the most successful coach ever, or will even have a winning season.

Unlike you I’m not going to piss on my own shoes and yell that the sky is falling. Is there ever a time where you actually agree to something Denver does? Instead of slamming Denver what do you expect them to do, because all you say is NO NO NO but I never see a proposition roll off your tongue.

jordan, young, and torain are on the edge. jordan closest to fall. i still say we draft a back SHONN GREENE. the guys a complete back as well. he listed 5’11 at 227 lbs. he rushed with 1,850 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2008. we can use his talents instead old beat up vets. plus he be available between 2-4 rounds of the draft.

Looks like we just signed JJ and Chris Simms too. That is a lot of running back to sign considering we still have Payton (#22). I hope JMac doen’t try and trade him.

This is a fine pick up. A cheap veteran. I see nothing wrong with creating competition. If he ends up making the team he could be a decent role player. If i had it my way i would have Buckhalter and Hillis spliting carries with Arrington as our 3rd down back. Either Torian or Jordan as depth. Jordan could be used as short yardage situations. I know this will probably be a job for hillis but i think hillis could offer more and im hoping McD notices this in camps. Young and Hall are as good as gone to me and for some reason i dont have much hope for torian.

4.5 yds per game is productivity in my book. it’s what he had last year and he should be fresh.
2.5 mill is chump change. he understands the offense.
