The Primary Thing for the Broncos is to work on the throwing, passing and catching the long throws which that should get us closer to the end zone. and send some protection perhaps with a catcher too just in case

If they stay in a 4-3 set, Lewis in the middle could be really good. However, if they switch to a full time 3-4, I'm not sure is would work. If he took a huge pay cut, then sign him up either way.

Just throwing this out to see if anyone would agree but I would love to see Ray Lewis in a Broncos uniform come the 2009 season. He's only 33 years old (same as John Lynch when he became a Bronco). This man is still capable of being a force on the field, always around the ball and most importantly, he plays with passion. He is a leader and will not tolerate his teammates to not give 100 percent. Draft Raji at NT but the Broncos need to address the biggest hole in the defense. That hole is heart, something the Broncos defense hasn't played with since Al Wilson left the on a stretcher. Put Ray Lewis on the same team as Champ Bailey and the Broncos defense could be very scary for our opponents instead of our fans. We can address other spots on defense through the draft but lets get someone that will bring the leadership we have lacked in the past.

No that anyone is reading the comments on this post any more, but I've revised my offseason moves:

Won't worry about cuts. The writing is on the wall for most of the obvious ones.

Again, assumes 3-4 D.

Trade:

D Graham to the Panthers for Round 4, Pick 28.
C Bailey to the Browns for Round 2, Pick 4.

Sign:

Only one big money signing.

OLB Terrell Suggs - to start opposite Dumervil/Moss.
ILB Andra Davis - for depth or to start next to Williams
WR Michael Clayton - has the talent, will be the 4th receiver for spread
TE - Tony Curtis - Depth only since Graham is gone (I'm cutting Jackson)
DE - Mike Wright - has filled in for all three spots of the Pats front three

Draft:

1:12 Trade to the Eagles for 1:21, 2:21, and 5:21 if one of the better OTs drops to 12

1:21 Tyson Jackson, DE
2:4 Patrick Chung, SS
2:16 Ron Brace, NT
2:21 Alphonso Smith, CB
3:15 Jeremiah Johnson, RB
4:14 Pat White, QB/WR/KR
4:28 Travis Beckam, TE
5:4 Cody Brown, DE/OLB
5:13 Kyle Moore, DE
6:12 Antonio Dixon, NT
6:23 John Cooper, OC
7:16 Travis McCall, FB/TE

That draft would be a coup.

just throwing this out there what if we drafted BJ raji in the 1st AND ron brace in the second and stayed in the 4-3 i think those 2 teamed with marcus thomas could make quite the DT rotation and if they end up being good players they should take some pressure off of poor lil dumervil and he will actually be able to get the sacks that he gets held away from all the time
