That’s right, we’re attempting to go Pre-Game with this and cut the episode as close to the game as possible. We’ve been planning on having Kyle on the show all week, but with the holidays and the fact that now Kyle’s actually going to be at the game- it proved a bit tough.

So tune in around 3:00 p.m. EST time and I will update this with a stream of the third episode of Broncos Nation Podcast.

We look forward to hearing from you and– Go Broncos!

EDIT:- It’s here!

Hit the link below to stream and read the topics we covered!

Topics covered by AsianOrange and myself include:

  • Are the San Diego Chargers the worst fans in football?
  • Should Nate Webster start ahead of a healthy Spencer Larsen.
  • Woody Paige’s Shanahan’s Waterloo article.
  • Can Eddie Royal be AFC RoY? And why can’t Ryan Clady?
  • Should Jay Cutler be mentioned amongst the MVP candidates this season?
  • And of course, predictions on the San Diego Chargers/Denver Broncos game tonight!

Check us out before the game, we’ve got an hour of Bronco talk! Also, as I said last week, you can now download the Podcasts directly to your iTunes as they are updated. If you’d like to visit the Broncos Nation archive, you can do that here as well.

Thanks for listening everyone!

Good afternoon brothers and sisters- we now officially are completely disrespected by the football establishment. I knew those punks like Rod Woodson and Neon Deion hated the Broncos, but now the guys on ESPN’s Countdown show have started hammering us. I expected it from Keyshawn (he falls in the same class with the two idiots I listed above), but TOMMY JACKSON even disrespected us this morning. Anyone see it?

Smack Rivers in the mouth and earn a little respect from the idiots on TV.

  • Riverscanbl&wme

Yes I did happen to catch the Countdown show right when they were discussing Rivers and Cutler. I don’t think Tommy disrespected us as much as told it how it is and that is that the media does not respect this team. I know retards like Carter and Keyshawn would say what they did and Ditka only said that Rivers has spelled L.T. as the face of S.D.’s offense. The funny thing is that players vote other players for the pro bowl and even with all his stats Rivers was not selected because the rest of the league knows that he is the biggest craftsman tool in the box. He has no class and pretends that no matter what he says it’s all in fun. These players are professionals and when he disrespect them they are going to take it personal.

  • http://broncomadness.com Garrett Barnes

The only guy who I have seen that showed some respect was Warren Sapp. He gave some actually sensible commentary on us and realized that Rivers was a punk. But then again he was the only one there who has played him.

Rivers upsets me so badly (among the many reasons) because the Sunday morning experts are putting him in a class with the Mannings, Tom Brady and Big Ben. Huge difference- if he’s such a deity in the NFL ranks and has had the BEST RB in the league since he started playing, shouldn’t he be winning his fourth Super Bowl right now?

Sure our defense is shaky as hell and Cutler has made some mistakes, but have the Dolts lose Merriman, LT, Igor the Hungarian A** wipe, and Darin Sproles and they are tied with the Raiduhs and Chiefs for bottom feeders in the AFC West. I can’t excuse our defensive play or Jay’s thrown picks, but our injuries have been huge this year, and Shanahan and his staff have done a masterful job of getting us to
    8-7.

Not taking away the talent Rivers has but his stats are a little inflated. Darren Sproles averages 12 yards a catch. Rivers gets to dump it off to Sproles and he’ll dart right up the field. Denver needs to watch Sproles that little man is the real deal.

Can anyone besides Kerry give me an educated answer to the following question:

Is Mike Shanahan on the hot seat if we lose tonight?

I hope not, but here in the country of the high plains, I don’t get the same vibes my bretheren in Denver may receive from the local gossippers.

  • http://broncotalk.net Ian Henson

Dakota fan- Shanahan is safe, even if he loses tonight. There were just too many things, out of his control this season, to have gone wrong. Pat Bowlen can’t cut him for that…

  • Dakota fan

Thanks for the reassurance- I’ve got to realize that Bowlen is a multi-billion dollar businessman who realizes that Shanahan is still one of the best in the business. I know the Sunday morning football geniuses think that there hasn’t been a decent coach west of the Mississippi River since Bill Walsh, but most of us in Bronco land know better.

  • http://BroncoTalk.net East

I agree Ian however I would love the Giants D-Cordinator Steve Spagnuolo as a head coach. Spagnulolo is a defensive master mind he has only drafted the best defensive players currently in the NFL. We need someone like that but unfortunately we’ll miss out.

dakota fan i think shanahan will rebound next year and we will have a GREAT running game and i say that a few coaches have to go and dre bly can go with them
and boss bailey can to woodyard has steped up when we needed it

  • Dakota fan

Hey East- here’s a wild thought. What would it take to bring Spagnuolo in as our defensive coordinator? Don’t coaches like a good challenge? Spags would have his work cut out for him and as long as Shanahan would leave him alone to coach the D and focus on developing a high powered offense, things could turn around. We could win another Super Bowl, Shanahan would cement his HOF legacy career, retire a happy man to his palace and leave it to Spagnuolo to take over and win many more.

In a perfect world, my friends. In a perfect world.

Time to go- my wife thinks I’m working right now.

    KICK THEIR ASSES, BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!

I wish Dakota… but he’ll most likely take a head coaching spot, possibly at the Bengals next year.

    In a perfect world indeed…

Sorry everyone, fixed the stream! Should be working now.

  • http://broncotalk.net Ian Henson

East- A lot of the Giants DLinemen were undrafted players and we were one Al Wilson physical away from having Justin Tuck in a Broncos uniform.

  • http://BroncoTalk.net East

Yes we were Ian… yes we were…
