The way I see it, if the broncos pull out a win @NY or even make it close, and later make the playoffs, they have a good shot at making a run. There's been a trend all season of the broncos winning when underdogs, and they'll definitely be underdogs, even against wildcard teams.

I don't know if anybody has noticed this or not but Eddie Royal did not participate in practice due to a toe injury. It could be an old report but i don't know for sure...

Definitely there is a large gap between us and the playoffs but hopefully we can continue our apparent trend of beating teams who seem to be playoff teams and losing to teams we should beat easily. It just seems like we show up against tougher teams, and the Jets are definitely a tougher team.

playoffs? who said anything about playoffs? -Jim Mora.

5 games left and counting. its a good thing that the Chargers sucked the big one this year. i think we should all worry about these next five games before even discussing what Cutler "MIGHT" be able to do in the playoffs. gotta get there first. and someone said the Broncos need to get in the playoffs so they can get a hunger for it?? should'nt football players already have the "hunger" to win and get in the playoffs?? how about getting the hunger for a victory instead of becoming totally complacent and useless after one turnover. (see Cutler in the Raiders game at invesco)

My only defense is that I was very young when the Broncos went through their series of Super Bowl schelackings. The 49ers blowout was particularly traumatizing. Now, losing big in the playoffs sets off some sort of horrible PTSD reaction and I spend the rest of the day curled up in the fetal position on the couch. I can't take the sort of ass-kicking we seem destined for at this rate.
Okay, I'm exaggerating a little, but it still sucks.

young team. Good talent. A playoff appearance would do wonders for experience. I dont care how we get into the playoffs as long as we do. Even if we are one and done in the playoffs it will help this team in the future. This young team would benefit greatly in the future if we make the playoffs this year. Why do the dolphins, Bills, Chargers, etc deserve a playoff berth over us? I have no problem taking advantage of a weak division. There have been numerous years in the past where each team in AFC West was a powerhouse and we had to scratch and claw. If we get in through the back door i say take it and run with it. Get those youngsters some experience and maybe make a run in the process. Giants did it last yr.

first off, we don't know what Cutler is capable of doing in a playoff game, so it would be nice to see what he can do in the most meaningful game in his nfl career (if he's able to take us to the playoffs, of course)

second: Would you rather see SAN DIEGO in the playoffs? Thought so.

I offer myself as a sacrificial lamb to be slaughtered by posters: let me be the first to say, with much sadness and chagrin, that I'm not actually sure I WANT to see our team make the playoffs at this rate. I know, I know, some fan, right? But the prospect of getting slaughtered by a real playoff team doesn't seem too appealing at the moment. I dunno. Maybe we'll get our s*&% together in the next five weeks, but...
