i just read online that Nate Jackson has been placed on the IR and we signed Chad Mustard to replace him.. can anyone confirm this??

Unfortunately for Clady he will not win the ROY. He should at least be in the conversation though. Linemen just don’t get the respect they deserve. It’s too easy for people to jump on the Matt Ryan bandwagon. That being said, I won’t be too bummed out if Clady doesn’t win ROY. BUT, if he gets snubbed from the Pro Bowl, I’ll have to kill people! Oh yeah…Eddie Royal will mke a strong case for ROY.

According to Wikipedia an OL has never won the award. We have had three of them (Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis, and Mike Croel).

An O lineman like Clady that has made this much impact in his ROOKIE YEAR. Wow- do you think the Broncos made a solid investment in drafting this kid first? He has a lot of years in which to prove himself, but if the rest of his years in Denver are this productive, we have a mainstay on the line who will have the same impact as Tommy Nalen has had.

Plus- can anyone name a better free agent pickup in the NFL this past offseason than Casy Wiegmann? (Sorry- there may be one or two, but I’m too busy to follow anyone besides the Broncos). I thought Nalen would be healthy enough to come back, but all Wiegmann has done is anchor an offensive line who has protected their QB better than a team of Secret Service agents.

Plus, his 13 years in the league is just what those two young tackles needed to start their NFL careers- a solid veteran mentor. Glad to have you on our side, Casey.

Yeah thats true about OT and ROY not a great combo.. Just merely stating how much these 2 guys have meant to this team and hey no better time than now for a OT to get that honor!!!! or course the ROY is a glamour award.. so not likely.

Joe Thomas last year gave up one sack all year. and didnt get a sniff of the ROY. so its very unlikely an OT will get a ROY at all. can anyone tell me when the last OL got the ROY. i think never.

From what I’ve read they have credited Clady with having given up half a sack.

We have all been blown away byt eddie royal’s affect on the team I think if he doesn’t get ROY he will have been ripped off!!! But then there is Mr. Clady and you have to think ok if he doesn’t get it he will have been ripped off!!! I am not too sure but I don’t think that he has even given up a sack!!! A big reason that Cut has so much time to through unlike last year!!! On top of that he has been penalized maybe a few times (lk 2 or 3)…. Clady and Royal!!! Co-ROY!!!!!
