I don’t want to jump the gun, but the NFC south’s looking strong… The retooled Saints, Monte Kiffins Bucs, reemerging ATL, and how-’bout-them-panthers!?

Especially the two latter – if they get a on a roll, that rookie-mentality might be hard to stop!

Great column Ian. I’m still hoping LT gets held to 0 touchdowns next week, nationwide ff teams be damned!

Biggest surprise to me of the weekend is Atlanta looking strong (will last place NFC South finish first the next year AGAIN), and more so, the Colts losing. Every year I think they’ll take a step back, and EVERY year they start 6-0 or something. Big surprise to see them 0-1.

i caught most of the second half of the jags vs titans game and both teams looked ordinary apart from the titans defense which managed to win the game. But with manning shaken, brady out and the browns, texans, chargers, jags and titans looking ordinary – monday night’s the time to make a statement.
