I think how Marshall handles this news is going to be a great indicator of what we can expect from him in the future, and just how much he really is listening to Smith. And, I think how Shanahan speaks of this is going to say a lot about just how committed to high character he really is. I hope Marshall, on his induction into the H of F cites this moment as a turning point in his career. Otherwise, he’ll become trade bait like Bobby Humphrey and Clinton Portis.

I won’t argue that Brandon Marshall didn’t deserve SOMETHING to get his attention, but Marshawn Lynch hit a woman with a car for crying out loud and didn’t get suspended! Suspensions without pay should really be the decision of a committee or group rather than one man, even if he is the commissioner.

Hate to see us lose him for ANY games, but this is a much better outcome than it could have been. Let’s hope these are the only games Marshall will ever miss for conduct issues.
