I can’t see the Broncos war room completely passing on WR this draft, especially if we can get a steal somewhere with receivers expected to fall this go around.

I don’t really see it as an indictment; no one really thinks Colbert is a replacement for Walker, and our depth chart is pretty thin at receiver. Parker would make great depth there and we’d love to have some competition for that #2 slot. The downside of course is that the loser of that competition gets the #4 slot, not the #3.

It seems reactionary to me though. All indications are that Marshall should be good to go, yet the Broncos are looking at bringing in two receivers all of a sudden?

Not that I don’t like the moves, especially Jackson.

I like the idea of adding Jackson. He was my fantasy football flop last season (thank the ff gods I had inside knowledge to pick up Marshall), but I think there is still serious potential and he could be a great #2 receiver for us. If we lock him up, add potential with the draft, I can stop taking antacids when thinking about our receiving corp.

As for Parker, meh, if he’s cheap, throw him at the wall and see if he sticks.
