Broncos @ Chiefs Week 10 Game Day Open Thread

1st 8:00 – I just got on. We already have 3 points…. that’s not bad! :)

Foxy almost had a pick! :(

1st 7:48 – Brandon with a HUGE catch! 38 yards!

Hold up… Erik Pears is shook up… Ryan Harris is going in… hold your breath!

1st 7:00 – Cutler throws an INT…

1st 6:00 – KC nears the red zone.

1st 5:38 – Good defensive hold on a short field. KC gets only a FG. 3-3.

I just checked the stats… My boy Andre Hall had a kick off return of 33 yards! Why is he not lining up at RB, again? :)

1st 5:38 – Andre Hall took the ball deep in the endzone out to the 22 yard line, but a stupid holding penalty will move us back 10 yards… another long drive is needed!

1st 4:54 – Two big runs by Young! Go, Young go!!!

1st 4:05 – Tony just couldn’t hold on to a great catch… oh, and Young has racked up a total of nearly 60 yards (pass & run).

defense isn’t looking too bad today. But the offense looks like it’s trying a bit too hard. Lots of good running though, hopefully they’ll stick with Young and maybe give Saap a go too.

1st 3:22 – Broncos Punt. But we have to do it again due to the another penalty. KC ends up gaining about 6 yards – KC to start on the 25.

P.S. Scheffler is shook up from that hit.

1st 2:49 – Bowe had another great catch. 1st down.

1st 1:16 – INT! Denver has it on the 2 yard line.

1st 0:37 – ANOTHER penalty! We’re getting killed by these things!

End of 1st – DEN has 115 yards total offense vs KC’s 60 yards. But the penalties are hurting us. DEN has 5 for 35 yards while KC has only had 1 for 5 yards. That an INT by both teams have things tied up 3-3.

2nd 14:53 – ANOTHER penalty. Clean it up boys! :(

2nd 14:50 – Blocked punt. Safety. Broncos trail KC 5-3.

2nd 13:34 – Big 3-and-6 for our Defense.

2nd 12:58 – DEN has a good Defensive stop (Gold actually knocked a WR’s helmet off on 3rd down!).

We get it back… Now, it’s time to calm down and get into a rhythm.

2nd 12:52 – Cutler overthrows a WIDE OPEN Brandon Marshall.

2nd 12:48 – Cutler gets his pass blocked… WHY ARE WE NOT RUNNING THE BALL!?!

2nd 12:48 – Big third down here… And Brandon Marshall has a great catch for the first. Credit Jay Cutler’s motor, as he moves around to give Marshall time.

2nd 11:31 – Cutler is almost INT again with another blocked pass. That brings up another big third down.

Brandon Stokley rocks! Young should get credit for the blitz pick up and Cutler for his mobility.

2nd 10:45 – Cutler is sacked.

2nd 10:08 – Marshall makes another catch on a Cutler scramble. Cutler is moving well (even with a bruised bone).

2nd 9:23 – Our O-line is getting blown away! Elam comes on to the field and kicks a great 50 yard FG (bouncing off the upright!). 5-6 (Denver leads)

2nd 9:15 – KC starts on their 25.

2nd 7:13 – And we score a SACK! Great work guys!

2nd 6:05 – A good run by Holmes and a catch by Bowe have KC moving.

2nd 4:29 – KC may only have Bowe and Holmes but they look like enough as KC is on Denver’s 5 yard line.

2nd 2:40 – Holmes makes a big mistake and looses 14 yards. KC must kick a FG. 8-6 (KC leads).

That stand in the red zone looked a lot like a we had found a run defense. Now get a lead before HT.

2nd 1:53 – Marshall is down on the field… NOT what we need!

2nd 1:38 – Culter’s limping.

2nd 1:35 – 3rd and 1… Patrick Ramsey gets it on the keeper.

2nd 1:15 – Cutler’s one tough cookie! He’s back in – Complete pass to Daniel Graham.

2nd 0:50 – Lepsis missed his man BADLY! We have to punt.

2nd 0:41 – KC is content to wind the clock down and we go to the locker room at half with the score 8-6 (KC leads it).
